TTD Seva Online Booking and Tirumala Arjitha Sevas
The sevas our family has attended and how each one is booked.
Sitting close for Kalyanotsavam
The first seva we ever got was Kalyanotsavam, the celestial wedding of the Lord with Sridevi and Bhudevi. Our mother cried through the whole ritual. Since then we try to register for at least one seva every year.
Sevas are paid rituals in the temple with small quotas. Most are booked online, some through a lucky dip. Book darshan on the TTD website as backup.
Quick answer: TTD seva online booking for arjitha sevas at Tirumala is done on the TTD website in two ways: an electronic lucky dip for Suprabhatam, Thomala, Archana and Nijapada darshan, and a direct online quota for Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.

Unjal Seva is the swing festival of Sri Malayappa Swamy with His consorts, held in the afternoon at the Unjal mandapam. Seva timings are printed on the ticket, so report early.

Each month TTD opens a registration window. Devotees register and a computer draw picks names. Those picked get a message and must pay before the deadline to confirm.
Which seva is easiest to get?
In our experience Kalyanotsavam and the afternoon sevas like Unjal Seva are easier than Suprabhatam, Thomala or Archana, which have very small quotas.
Do we get darshan after the seva?
Yes, seva ticket holders get darshan of the main deity as part of the visit. The way it is done depends on the seva, so follow the staff.
What is the dress code for sevas?
Traditional dress is a must. Men wear dhoti or kurta pyjama with an upper cloth. Women wear a saree, half saree or churidar with dupatta. Read dress code rules.
