Srivani Darshan Tickets and VIP Break Darshan

We stood in the Vaikuntam queue at 5 am for darshan.

Our family experience

How we booked our VIP break darshan

We reached the Vaikuntam queue complex at 5 am last December. The air was cold but our hearts were full of hope. We had booked the Srivani tickets online. It was our first time trying this. The queue was very short compared to other times. You can see the Lord very well in VIP break darshan without any rush.

TTD changes the rules often. Sometimes the timings move or the quota changes. Always check the official TTD website for ticket release dates. We do not want you to miss your chance.

Quick answer: Srivani darshan (శ్రీవాణి దర్శనం) needs a ₹10,000 donation to the Srivani Trust plus a ₹500 VIP break darshan ticket per person. Srivani tickets are booked on the TTD website or at a small offline counter, and break darshan is usually in the morning at the time printed on the ticket.

Go to the official TTD website. Do not use any other site or search results that look like it.

Look for the Srivani trust donation option in the main menu under darshan services.

Enter devotee details

Type in the Aadhaar number and name for each person. You will need to upload a photo.

Pay the amount

Use your credit card or net banking to pay the donation and the ticket fee together.

Save the receipts

Download the donation receipt and the darshan ticket. Print them out to carry with you to Tirumala.

Report at MBC

Reach the reporting point on your ticket one hour before your slot. Show your original Aadhaar card and the ticket.

Two ways

Advance booking or current booking

Advance quota opens online every month along with other quotas. It sells out quickly, so we keep the release dates in our calendar.

A small current quota has been given offline, mainly at the Tirupati airport counter, on a first come basis. It is not guaranteed, so plan with an online booking if you can.

Whichever way you book, the same rules apply on the day. Carry the original ID used for booking, wear strictly traditional clothes and report at the time on the ticket. Never pay an agent for a Srivani ticket, TTD sells it only on its own site and counter.

Questions

Questions about Srivani darshan

Here are some things our relatives often ask us before they visit Tirumala.

How do I book Srivani tickets?

Srivani tickets are released monthly on the official TTD website. A limited offline quota is given at the TTD counter at Tirumala and at Tirupati airport, first come first served, with original ID.

What are Srivani darshan timings?

Srivani Trust break darshan is usually held in the morning break darshan time. The exact reporting time is printed on the ticket. Reach the entry point at least one hour before it.

What is the Srivani Trust donation?

The Srivani Trust is a TTD trust that builds and repairs temples. A donation of ₹10,000 gives one person a VIP break darshan ticket, which costs ₹500 extra. A receipt is given for the donation.

Can we get Srivani tickets offline?

Yes, there is a counter at the Tirupati airport and sometimes in Tirumala. However, these are very limited. TTD gives them on a first come basis. It is much safer to book them online on the official website before you leave your home.

Is there a dress code for children?

Children should also wear traditional clothes if possible. For boys, a dhoti or simple pants and shirt are okay. For girls, a long skirt or a simple dress is fine. TTD is usually a bit relaxed with very small kids, but traditional is always better.

How many laddus do we get?

Usually, you get one or two laddus with your VIP break ticket. You can buy more at the laddu counters by paying extra. Make sure you carry a cloth bag to keep the laddus safe as plastic is not allowed on the hills.

Can we take our mobile phones?

No, mobile phones and any electronic items are strictly not allowed inside the temple. You must leave them in your room or at the luggage counters near the entry point. It is better to leave them in your locker to save time.

What is the total cost per person?

The total cost for one Srivani darshan is ten thousand five hundred rupees. This includes the ten thousand rupee donation to the trust and the five hundred rupee ticket fee. There are no other hidden charges if you book on the official portal.
